I love to create- short and simple. To actually do the creating takes time: lots of tearing apart of objects, re-piecing things together, adding color, taking away parts, but in the end, you have this new thing that didn’t exist before.
My art consists mostly of pieces---broken bits of what used to be; things that others have thrown away or discarded. The goal that I strive for in my art is to bring life back to the remnants that I find by putting together a puzzle that has no picture to follow. It could be a small pendant made from broken jewelry pieces or a large sculpture with a collage of metal, plastic, paper, and glass. No matter what it is called- recycling, repurposing, upcycling, salvage reclamation- my finished creations come from turning what was once considered old into something brand new.

The following page will include fields duplicating the membership application, giving you an opportunity to update or add data left off during the application or renewal process. If applicable, images you have submitted to us via Zapplication are also included in your profile. To add your own images, please scroll to the bottom of the form. Once data is submitted, it will be reviewed before being published to the live directory. We ask that updates be made only once a year so Tennessee Craft can sustain the workflow and keep the costs down for keeping our website current.
