Artist Statement
| I love working with plant dyes in immersion pots and steamers. The plants used, the placement, wrapping, temperature, time doesn't always produce the result I imagine, so there's always an element of surprise, of learning, and sometimes of disappointment. Letting go of the fear of being wrong, of always being able to control the end results, sets me free to be the artist and the woman I want to be. |
