For many years, I was a photographer - and still am, but it is no longer my main focus. My true love was always the darkroom, and since the demise of chemical photography, I have moved more into different means of exploring the textures and patterns that I sought out with my camera. I've also begun an exploration of the various patterns related to cultures from around the world. I have worked with black ink and color dyes/inks on natural gourds to create patterns. Since retiring and moving to the woods, I jumped into concrete over Styrofoam sculpture (thank you, Sherri Warner Hunter!!!), rock and stone mosaics, and sculptural creatures from wire, wood, rocks and found objects. In between concrete projects, I make small dolls using found objects and paper clay and automatons with carved wood and paper clay figures.

Thank you for helping us to keep our directory current! The following page will include fields duplicating the membership application, giving you an opportunity to update or add data left off during the application or renewal process. If applicable, images you have submitted to us via Zapplication are also included in your profile. To add your own images, please scroll to the bottom of the form. Once data is submitted, it will be reviewed before being published to the live directory. We ask that updates be made only once a year so Tennessee Craft can sustain the workflow and keep the costs down for keeping our website current.
