Artist Statement
As a Nashville native with a 70+ year family history in the Nashville entertainment industry, and for over 30 years personally, I have been intimately involved with the Nashville, and global, music and arts scene. My inspiration is derived from many periods of classical art throughout the ages, most notably the Dada and Surrealism movements of contemporary art, and primarily work in Objet Trouve' assemblage, both functional and sculptural. I have been honored to receive multiple accolades and distinctions from premier events and juries, and regularly present my work at juried fine arts and crafts festivals across the United States. My goal as a professional artist is to inspire and motivate patrons with my vision, message and aesthetics.
