Description of Work I make mixed media textile works, focusing primarily on the way our clothing is used to visually signal to others. I use reclaimed textiles to reduce waste in landfills and give longer life to the fabrics.

Artist Statement
I am fascinated by the use of fashion as a form of self-expression. My work explores the unique ways individuals express themselves through their style and the way they dress. I use reclaimed textiles to create garments that three-dimensionally clothe ready-made portraits. It's amazing how something as simple as a piece of clothing can tell such a rich and complex story about our inner workings. I want my viewers to consider, "What do your clothes say about you?"
