Description of Work I consider myself a traditional potter, working in thrown and hand-built works. My current work has a deep-rooted sense of connection to historical pottery with a focus on functionality and creativity.

Artist Statement
Helping people find their creativity through my work is why I do what I do. The goal of my work is to empower everyone to find their creativity, whether it be in the kitchen or in the studio. The functionality of a work and how it came to be has always be a sort of obsession for me and I love to take others along for that journey. My current works have a deep-rooted sense of these ideas, in their creation and use, as well as carrying a connection historically with functionality and creativity.
