Artist Statement
I strive to make forms that prompt a sense of wonder and comfort. My primary focus is wheel thrown pottery for functional use in your home. Nature is a constant source of my inspiration; from the depths of the ocean to the soaring mountains. As a child, I remember going to the zoo and spending every second I could looking at the aquarium wildlife. I was constantly awestruck by the massive blue expanse filled with fish larger than me. I seek to capture that sense of childlike wonder and deliver it in my pots. I believe every person has something unique about them, and I strive to inspire those around me to channel their inner creativity into self expression. Becoming an artist as an adult has truly been one of the greatest joys of my life, and I hope to inspire you to find your inner artist as well.
