Artist Statement
As a professional geologist, I've always been drawn to working with stones - making arrowheads, carving stones, decorating walking sticks and boxes, and making a variety of jewelry. I like finding stones and gems to work with, then drawing out design ideas based on what I have. The majority of what I do is bead work, some beginners leather and wirework. I am self-taught, but would enjoy some guidance to learn more, just with a full-time job it's difficult to find the time.
