Artist Statement
I weave on small looms & sew on an industrial sewing machine and serger creating decorative & functional textile products made sustainably with remnants and dead-stock fabrics. My niche is sewn woman's signature jackets, coats and shawls often with hand-woven embellishments while other products are "Pockets" (my contemporary take on a historic item), hand woven belts and potholders and sewn blank note cards.
My aesthetic has grown out of a lifetime of love and respect for fine craft and frugal ingenuity. All Lambert Clark, LLC products are cut, sewn and woven in my attic studio in the Sylvan Park neighborhood of Nashville, TN by me.
