2016 Fall Craft Fair

Join the fun in the Kid’s Tent Mini Maker Fair! The Mini Maker Fair will simulate selling and buying, creating commerce and exchanging craft similar to the Tennessee Craft Fair. Kids will be able to create and purchase craft to start their art collection.

The following organizations and teaching artists have graciously agreed to donate their resources to guide the children in craft making through different mediums. Children will learn new skills and discover professional tools as they make their own handmade craft to take home!

The Celebrated Jumping Frog of Calaveras County
Mark Twain’s famous short story was first published in November 1865, and helped establish his reputation as a humorist. Twain uses this tale of a con-man and his notorious frog to comment on foolishness and consequences. Brand new puppets built and performed by Wishing Chair Productions move to an energetic bluegrass score by Tom McBryde.
