Event Details:
The Tri-State Basketry Guild has over thirty members from Tennessee, Virginia, and North Carolina, and is based in Blountville, Tennessee. At the Kingsport I-26 Welcome Center and the Bristol I-81 Welcome Center members will gather to demonstrate contemporary basket weaving. They will also,display baskets woven in Tennessee, discuss the materials and weaving techniques, and answer visitors’ questions about the craft.
