Learn to how to make your own handbound book in this two-day workshop taught by book artist Katie Gonzalez.

Event Details:

Learn to bind your own blank book — a handmade work of art that’s also practical for sketching, journaling, or displaying photos. This two-day workshop focuses on the traditional Coptic binding style, which features hard covers, decorative stitching across the spine, and pages that lay completely flat when open. Students will personalize their books by choosing from a variety of unique handmade papers and colorful thread. No bookbinding experience required. All tools and supplies included in materials fee.
