In October of 2005 Jon Ladd was asked to help a master craftsman leather cobbler at the Southern Highlands show in Asheville, NC. Many years, shows, and indentured servitude later, he is out on his own making his own brand and style of leather goods, all crafted by hand with traditional tools. Jon works mostly with English Bridle leather and imports the leather from a tannery in England that has been tanning leather the same way since 1841. Each bag is hand cut, hand worked, and designed by Jon, and his belts are made to fit each client individually. With thought to the modern world, classic style, and simple function, he believes each to be a simple pleasure.
