The International Storytelling Center is located directly in the center of downtown Historic Jonesborough, Tennessee, our states oldest town. The Plaza is the large open area right in front off Main Street.
Event Details:
The Art of Mosaic will be demonstrated by mosaic artist Beverly Thomas Jenkins, known for her portraits and abstract, colorful florals and landscapes. During the demonstration, you may also participate and make a small mosaic, which later will be grouted and sent to you. My style of this ancient art form is a unique blend of glasses, Venetian & Mexican Smalti, found objects, metals, etc. that all come together to make a spectacular piece of art. Beverly will be set up on the International Storytelling Plaza (rain/alternate plan will be advised to visitors as they approach)downtown Historic Jonesborough, Tennessee.
