The Elephant Discovery Center is an interactive museum educating visitors about The Elephant Sanctuary and elephant conservation.
Event Details:
The Elephant Discovery Center exists to educate the public about the needs of elephants in captivity and crisis facing elephants in the wild. From 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, Discovery Center staff will be showing visiting families how to create everyday, reusable tools and art out of recycled goods. This event is part of the larger Oktober Heritage Festival taking place community wide in Hohenwald on October 11-12. There are no actual elephants at the Elephant Discovery Center.
