Event Details:
Aleta’s demonstration will consist of carving wheel-thrown pots that have already been created on the wheel and dried to the right hardness to carve- a mix of throwing and handbuilding. She will apply slip to the pots (which will exaggerate the carved texture) and then carve them. There will be clay samples that people can play with and carve on to give the technique a try.
