Event Details:
Pleasant Hill craft artist Sharron Eckert will be demonstrating the art of long leaf pine needle coiling at the I-40 Welcome Center in Smith County on October 7, 2017. Sharron uses long leaf pine needles in a traditional coiling technique, sewing bundles of needles onto each other. It is a fascinating process to watch because of the intricate work, time involved and the beautiful finished art work.
