Volunteer with Tennessee Craft
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Tennessee Craft!
Volunteers are a vital part of the success of Tennessee Craft fairs each spring and fall. We need approximately 75 volunteers at this fair to best support our exhibiting artists. Volunteers should be 18 years of age to volunteer alone; if you are under 18 and would like to volunteer, please have a parent or guardian email us.
Fair Volunteer Tasks
- General Help
- Various tasks such as deliver morning news and shuttle service postcards, bring water to artists and other duties as needed. It is always helpful to have volunteers who are willing to jump in and help in any way they can!
- Load-In
- Help artists find their booth locations, navigate the fair layout, set up their booths in the proper spots and load-in their tents and artwork.
- Breakfast Tent (7 – 10 am)
- Organize and serve continental breakfast to exhibiting artists in the Hospitality Tent.
- Welcome Tent
- Throughout the fair volunteers in this area work energetically to welcome fairgoers, answer their questions, guide them to the fair map and artist list and share our Tennessee Craft mission with those who want to know more.
- Booth-sitter
- Booth-sitters check in with the volunteer coordinator throughout their shift, receive instruction and then provide breaks to our exhibiting artists by remaining at their tent. This allows artists a short lunch or bathroom break.
- Park Clean-up
- Help clean up park grounds on Monday after the fair.
- Volunteer Lead
- If you are interested in leading a group of volunteers, please email us by clicking here or sending to tncraftvolunteer at gmail dot com.
