For Tennessee Craft’s Lunch & Learn Series, she presents How to Remain Visible as AI Changes the Way We Search, exploring how AI is reshaping online discovery and sharing practical ways artists and makers can help both people and AI-powered search tools find, understand, and recommend their work.

Kelly Hider – Writing Artist Statements 
This presentation will cover why it’s important to write an artist statement, and different kinds of artist statements. It will also go over all the things an artist may want to address or consider when writing an artist statement including audience, tone, and content. This presentation will also include a very brief stream-of-consciousness writing exercise, and additional tips for feeling more confident in writing artist statements.

Nadine Shillingford – C.A.N.V.A.S: Awareness & Network Vigilance for Artists Safety
This presentation is designed to help artists and other creatives enhance the security of their online art practices. It covers key concepts such as social engineering, malware, ransomware, and phishing, and provides practical tips on protecting online presence, including the use of strong passwords, two-factor authentication, and password managers. Participants will also learn how to identify phishing attempts and what steps to take if they fall victim to such attacks.
