Artist Statement
I am a craftsman, designer and artist. I assist wood in getting to its final form and enhancing the natural beauty that is within. I have made many things out of wood including boxes, cutting boards, furniture, cabinets, coat racks, and houses. I have a renewed interest in the last several years by restoring woodwork in turn of the century houses which renewed my interest in designing smaller more intricate projects. I especially like to design one-of-a-kind tables with unique joinery and finishes. I just recently began forging metal to enhance my wood projects.
