Artist Statement
My work is an assortment of various mediums reflective of nature’s beauty. It is an abstract interpretation of naturally occurring phenomena, including but not limited to precious and semi-precious stones, moss, and the sea. Colors are intensified in abstract manifestations of the natural world, sometimes to the point of fantasticism. I also write and self-publish Young Adult novels under the alias K. L. Ricks.
