Artist Statement
I am an abstract, mixed-media artist with a love of texture and dark boho vibes. My paintings are inspired by the often-overlooked beauty in a cozy evening outdoors. They are a reflection of the colors and forms found in the quiet stillness and healing potential of nature. I try to capture the organic, whimsical nature of the world around me. To tap into the joys of fresh night air and the curious play of shadows in the dark.
I was raised in Middle Tennessee and have made my home here as an adult. As part of the Bedford Arts Collective, I have been able to support and be supported by other local artists. I tend to work mainly in acrylics and ink, and I like to challenge myself with different ways to manipulate media textures and applications. I've been attending more classes and workshops to expand this skill set. My art journey has been one of healing and learning, and I hope to share that with my audience.
