Artist Statement
I use locally foraged leaves and flowers to create one of a kind printed merino wool and silk ponchos. Plant materials are arranged on individual fabric pieces which are then bundled and processed. After fabric cools, it is then washed and sewn into ponchos. Each piece takes approximately 4-5 hours to complete.
For my watercolor pieces, I begin with a “blank canvas”. Each item is dyed individually to resemble watercolor paintings. All work is one of a kind.
