Artist Statement
I was involved with the Spring Craft fair from day one, and also produced clay pieces, taught pottery at Volunteer State, and owned a craft gallery...Gallery lll in Hendersonville. I also developed Clay bodies and glazes which were sold to potters as well as schools throughout the Southeast. I was director of the first 8 or 10 Spring craft fairs.
I developed an allergy to clay, and retired from crafts in the early 1980’s. I have always enjoyed my relationships with the craft community, and appreciate the individuality and dedication and creative drive of each craftsperson. There is a special place in my heart for TACA and the fair.
