My interest in art began a few years ago when I was playing competitive tennis. I didn't like the ordinary look of my racquets and wanted to repaint them myself but didn't know how. After watching many car and motorcycle shows on TV during which they show custom painting techniques, I decided to try them on my racquets. As my painting skills improved my wife encouraged me to try painting larger items but I didn't know what to use.
One day I was surfing the Internet and came across a site that featured textured and painted abstract metal wall art. I loved what I saw. For the first time I saw art I would pay for. I was so intrigued by the way light reflected from different angles and how the colors seemed to change on their own. I wanted to make art that never stands still. It has a holographic effect that makes highlights appear in different places, colors morph and shapes change. The piece changes each time you view it - I find that exciting!
I love what I do. I love that, with this art 1 + 1 = anything you can imagine.
