Artist Statement
I am interested to see how one element of design can from a body of work and the potential of development of future work. That presents a very reliable and unpredictable challenge when I design and make my work. This folded leaf line is exactly that. I hand fold each leaf and use it in combinations of multiple leaves color resin or silver wires. The combinations of color, three dimensional and lightweight qualities make my work comfortable to wear and interesting to look at.
