Artist Statement
After 40 years of being a fiber artist, I fell in love with making wire and silver sheet into jewelry. I'm inspired by my surroundings and by the stones I use. I'm infatuated with man-made "jewels" such as Fordite and other industrial products. Creating beauty from what was previously considered a waste material is exhilarating.
