Artist Statement
I have been creating handmade books for over 15 years. I love designing albums for special occasions, i.e. weddings, Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, anniversaries, birthdays. Having a Master's in Counseling, I began making journals for myself after my daughter's illness and death as a place to write my innermost thoughts. That experience led me to start making journals for others experiencing life's traumas.
