Artist Statement
My work is an invitation to celebrate clay's irresistible function and form. Clay is easily molded and shaped by hand, letting the artist physically leave their mark while still celebrating the voice of the clay. My pieces are simple in design, yet playful with the movement and color of glazes. The surface, texture, and shape are the connection between material, maker, and user.
