Thank You!

Thank You!

Our staff, board, members and supporters would like to express our gratitude for the recent support we have received from area Foundations.

The Frist Foundation and Memorial Foundation generously funded recent upgrades to our database and website.  By updating the technological backbone of our organization, we are now better positioned to focus on and accomplish mission-driven work.  Long-term, we know these advances will improve the staff’s ability to serve artists. The time saved through new, streamlined processes will  be dedicated to the events and programs that deliver our mission to Tennessee makers and enrich our community.
(Pictured above, you’ll see our appreciative Chapter Officers.  The ease of utilizing our newly organized data and website allowed our staff to dedicate more time to a training meeting offered to our volunteer leaders this January. As you can see, the additional TLC and provided resources left smiles on their faces!)

We also want to offer thanks to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee for their support of our desire to inspire the next generation of artists. Through their grant, we will be able to increase the quality of activities offered to the youngest visitors of our upcoming Tennessee Craft Fair (May 2, 3 & 4 in Centennial Park).  Professional artists  will be present in the Kids’ Tent to lead hands-on projects for children. We are busy working with our partners and will have more details about the great offerings we’ll have soon… Stay tuned!

Looking ahead, we are excited about participating in The Big Payback. This community-wide,online giving day hosted by The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee will happen across Middle Tennessee on May 6, 2014. This  event will raise awareness and funds for area nonprofits – and we’re signed up to participate! Again… stay tuned! We’ll have more details to share in the coming weeks!
