Artist Statement
I make sculptures primarily of wood and clay, sometimes with the addition of textiles and found objects. I also do paintings in oil and watercolor with the occasional use of collage. My inspiration is found in the creatures that inhabit the forests, fields and creeks surrounding my enchanting rural middle Tennessee location. I have works included in the Tennessee State Museum and in private collections across the USA and abroad.
