Tennessee Craft proudly presents Tennessee Craft: A Statewide Member Exhibition. This exhibition highlights and promotes the excellence and high standards of Tennessee Craft member artists and provides public visibility and recognition for the quality and diversity of craft found in Tennessee. The exhibition is being held at the Customs House Museum and Cultural Center in Clarksville, TN, and runs from September 1 until October 26, with an Artist Reception on September 14th from 5-7 pm.

Sarah Martin is a multimedia craft artist based in Murray, Kentucky. She received her BFA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2001, and her MFA in Woodworking from the Program in Artisanry at the University of Massachusetts-Dartmouth in 2005.  Since 2014 she has been heading the Woodworking area at Murray State University, where she is an associate professor. Her practice combines woodworking, small metals, fibers, and sculpture, and she has been included in exhibits throughout the United States and abroad.  She has participated in residencies at the Penland School of Craft and San Diego State University, and regularly teaches workshops at craft schools around the country.  More of her work can be found at sarahmartinstudio.com.
