From March 7-29, the Arts & Culture Alliance of Knoxville will be featuring “Handmade Here: A Tennessee Craft Chapter Exhibition,” a program which will include works of basketry, clay, fiber, glass, wood, metals, leather, handmade paper, mixed media, printmaking, photography, and more. The 27 artists come from our East, Northeast and Southeast Chapters and were juried by Plateau Chapter leaders. You can learn more about our chapters here.
The purpose of this exhibition is to help promote inter-chapter activity and membership involvement and to strengthen Tennessee Craft’s presence in East Tennessee, and falls in line with Tennessee Craft’s mission to support artists, building a platform for high-quality craftsmanship and reinforcing the importance of fine craft for the entire community.
