Mixed Media
What: By combining more than one element of art, mixed media artists create a wide variety of unique products.
Materials: paint, photographs, metal, nature, etc.
History: Mixed media art was born around the twentieth century. Pablo Picasso’s use of oil paint, cloth, rope, and paper helped mixed media become popular. Despite its brief history, mixed media craft has successfully evolved over time and continues to increase in popularity.
Techniques: Paint layering, photography, painting, sketching, sculpting.

Hi Diane, we do not offer a photography apprentice program at this time. Please follow up with your local chapter for opportunities to connect with fellow chapter members who do photography. Our Artists Member Gallery features photographers that might be open to connecting for informal mentorship. Thank you!
