Jessica Smith is a ceramic artist who maintains a studio and teaches visual art in Western Alabama.“The act of cultivating space is celebrated within my modular ceramic sculptures. Moist segments of hand-molded raw clay are intentionally crafted small gestures. I mass produce and assemble these entities into a tessellating composite.â€
