Opened 2000. The first Madison Branch Library opened March 14, 1977 and served the community for more than 20 years. The new Madison Library opened August 5th on the site of the old Taylor Stratton School on Gallatin Road. It was designed by Gobbell Hays Partners, Inc. and reflects the library's investment in children with its theme from The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. This C.S. Lewis book emphasizes children's curiosity and joy of discovery.

Get spooky for Halloween: make your own scrappy monster! Using fabric scraps, string, and wood pieces, we create wrapped, mummy-like forms, then finish them with eyes, feathers, fur, and other scary additions. For adults, but all are welcome.
