Event Details:
On Saturday, October 7, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Shimai artists will set up shop on the Reading Porch at the Bellevue Library to show visitors how they produce their crafts. All visitors will be encouraged to create cyanotype prints that will be woven together as a Community Quilt that will be permanently displayed at the library. On Thursday evening, October 12, from 6 – 8 p.m., in the community room, will be our annual Artists Forum, featuring 3 local musical instrument makers who will discuss what led them to their craft discipline and what motivates their choices in their process.
