Event Details:
Hixson craft artist Timothy Russell will be demonstrating the art of leather tooling at the Nickajack Welcome Center on I-24 near Chattanooga, on October 7, 2017. Timothy has been a leather crafter for 25 years and now sells his work at high end craft shows and Highland Games across the country. His demonstration includes a shop that fits in a granite-topped kitchen island which he brings with him and shows each step of the process of leather tooling. By standers can try their hand at leather tooling with the hands on activities Timothy will have available.
