Event Details:
Anne takes natural and dyed dried corn shucks, wets them down, and twists and ties the shucks into dolls. She also describes her process and the history of this traditional Appalachian craft. Anne will display samples of the materials used, as well as a storyboard illustrating the step-by -step process of dyeing the shucks to the finished doll.
