Event Details:
Gatlinburg artist Sherry Mummert will be demonstrating the process of weaving on a floor loom at the I-75 Welcome Center near Jellico on October 10, 2017. Sherry changed careers after being an Engineer for over 20 years and taught herself to weave through a correspondence course in 1994. She is now a production weaver for the Cliff Dwellers Gallery in Gatlinburg, making rugs, placemats, scarves and blankets.
