Event Details:
Bill and Tina like to interact with the visitors at the Welcome Center. Discussions therefore ensue about the lathe, the tools used in the process, the types of wood species and how they were procured, and interesting vignettes regarding the wide variety of finished pieces on display. While Bill is working at the lathe he is making wood shavings and turning a piece, usually a small bowl or platter, with an explanation of how to use the various chisels laid out on his tool table.
