About the Chapter

Tennessee Craft – Northeast serves a variety of artists in the Tri-Cities area. This chapter plans and implements innovative events allowing its members to show their work to members of the community and collectors. From networking events with galleries and retailers to window displays in downtown locations to booths at the National Storytelling Festival, each chapter event is designed to raise the profile of the talented artist living in northeast Tennessee.

Meetings are held throughout the year and feature rich content to help members grow their fine craft businesses. This chapter welcomes artists from the following counties to participate in meetings and events: Carter, Greene, Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi and Washington

In conjunction with Tennessee Craft Week and American Craft Week, Tennessee Craft Northeast is conducting a fine art show made up of only Tennessee Craft-Northeast Artists in this juried art show hosted by the historic General Morgan Inn. Admission is free to the public and we encourage you to enjoy the beauty of the General Morgan Inn as well as Brumley’s restaurant in addition to visiting the show.

We hosted a reception for Tennessee Craft’s Board of Directors at the home of Richard Dwyer, in lieu of our regular meeting on August 27.
