Tennessee Craft – South
About the Chapter
Tennessee Craft – South is an active and engaged chapter of our organization. South members have year-round opportunities to show and sell work.
Each year, chapter members participate in the Emerging Makers Tent at Tennessee Craft’s spring and fall craft fairs in Nashville’s Centennial Park by exhibiting, demonstrating and volunteering.
The chapter also hosts an annual Holiday Studio Tour, held the first weekend of December in Sewanee and Monteagle. Over 35 craft artists showcase a variety of fine craft, including pottery, wood furniture, wood carvings, books, jewelry, and many other handmade items.
The chapter presents their annual fundraiser in July. This event features a silent auction of members’ work and is held at Local’s Gallery on University Avenue in Sewanee.
This chapter welcomes artists from the following counties to participate in meetings and events: Bedford, Coffee, Franklin, Giles, Gundy, Hickman, Lawrence, Lewis, Lincoln, Marion, Marshall, Maury, Moore, Perry and Wayne.
